K/DA is a virtual K-Pop group released by Riot Games in 2018. The group stars four champions from the company's most popular game, League of Legends: Ahri the lead singer, Akali the rapper, Evelynn the vocalist, and Kai'Sa, the main dancer.
The name K/DA is an acronym for the words Kills, Deaths, and Assists. It is a common term used in League of Legends to quantify the performance of the player in game. The original purpose of creating such a group was to promote the League of Legends World Championship and increase sales of in game skins/costumes. Their first single "POP/STARS" received a lot of attention and praises; the music video currently has over 500 million views on YouTube. Since then, K/DA have been a recurring guest for the League of Legends Championship Opening Ceremonies; Riot has been able to use holographics to project them on stage and create a live performance for the audience.
Their most recent work was an EP under the name "All Out." It was released in 2020 and consists of five songs: "THE BADDEST", "MORE", "VILLIAN", "DRUM GO DUM", and "I'LL SHOW YOU" .
